PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Durack Civil engaged ASCT to carry out testing for the reconstruction and widening of 24km of Stanage Bay Road (sections 2 and 3) to improve road safety and all weather access.
The scope involved reshaping and widening the existing subgrade formation, producing, carting and placing over 200,000t of road base to form the new sub-base and base layers – then a 2 coat seal. Various drainage structures were also upgraded and widened as part of the works.
