ASCT Rockhampton recently completed Construction Materials Testing for a 5km section of the Landsborough Highway between Tambo and Augathella Qld.

The Landsborough Highway is the principal north-south route serving western Queensland. It is an important link for local industry and tourism and is part of the national highway system linking Darwin and Brisbane. The link is a Type 2 road train route, over dimension and hazardous vehicles also use this route.

The scope of work included field densities & compactions from a mobile testing facility. ASCT also completed material quality testing for pavement and sub-pavement materials and concrete testing for the roadway in Western Queensland.
