PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Banana Shire Council engaged Durack Civil to reconstruct, widen and overlay 1.5 km of 3 Chain Road near Moura, Queensland to improve access to the Moura Mine.
The works involved clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, embankment fill, drain excavation, in-situ road stabilisation, pavement construction and a 2 coat seal. All works were completed to TMR specifications.
ASCT worked closely with the client to ensure the works were completed under a tight timeframe in order to meet end of financial year budget requirements. Durack optimised its work program to enable various scope elements to be completed in parallel, making significant time savings.
