PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ASCT was engaged by CMC to undertake a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and supply the materials testing package for the Emu Park Road upgrades.
The upgrades included the installation of two overtaking lanes, road widening and pavement works, along with priority safety, capacity and zone clearing improvements.
This initiative aimed to enhance safety measures for all users along a 4-kilometre stretch of the Rockhampton-Emu Park Road. Serving as a vital link between the coastal community of Emu Park and Rockhampton, this state-controlled roadway also accommodates traffic from surrounding areas within the Livingstone Shire, including Tanby, Keppel Sands, and Cawarral.
Commencing in early 2023, the project reached completion in early 2024.
